To start your tour, you will be be picked up from your hotel or selected location by an air-conditioned vehicle. Your first visit for the day will be the Palm Jumeirah – a man-made island built in the shape of a palm, where you can stop by the luxurious Atlantis hotel for a photo session. From Palm island, you can also catch a glimpse of the Dubai Marina, a beautiful waterfront with some stunning and luxurious communities in the background.

Next, head to Souk Madinat Jumeirah. This Souk gives you an authentic cultural experience of the Middle East. A lovely place to visit, Souk Madinat Jumeirah gives you a feel of what it was like to live in Dubai a few hundred years ago. As you proceed further down the road, stop by Jumeirah Beach to take pictures in the backdrop of the splendid seven-star hotel, Burj Al Arab.

From here drive to the Blue Mosque, known as the Al Farooq Omar Bin Al Khattab Mosque. This religious shrine was inspired by Ottoman and Andalusian styles of architecture and can accommodate around 2000 worshippers. It has wonderful interiors decorated with beautiful chandeliers and a library that is home to a collection of almost forty thousand books related to different religions.

Once you have explored the Blue Mosque, your sightseeing in modern Dubai comes to an end. Now, it is time to head to old Dubai to understand the origins and evolution of this wonderful city. Drive to Old Dubai and the Creek side, where it all began. Hop in an abra (water taxi), the city’s oldest mode of transportation, to cross the Creek. Visit the Gold and Spice Souk for quick shopping. The Gold Souk is renowned for its wide collection of gold jewellery, while the Spice Souk brims with aromatic spices, herbs, nuts, oil, saffron and so on. At the end of your tour, stay on your own at the souk or be transferred back to your hotel or selected location.
