Course:

1st day: Antalya
Transfer from the airport to the hotel. Depending on the arrival time you still have the opportunity to explore the sights of Antalya on your own. Dinner and overnight in Antalya. (D )

Day 2: Antalya – Konya – Cappadocia (about 560 km)
Drive to the Anatolian Plateau to Konya. Visit of the former Dervish monastery with the tomb of the great Islamic mystic Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi. Mevlana founded the Sufi Order of Dancing Dervishes, who are in a trance with a ritual dance. Continue to Cappadocia. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia. (B/D )

Day 3: Uçhisar – Pasabag – Goreme – Red Valley (about 80 km)
After breakfast drive to Uçhisar. From the summit of the highest tuff cone you have a wonderful panoramic view of the bizarre landscape of volcanic rock. Continue on Pasabag with characteristic rock formations to Göreme with its fascinating cave churches, which originated in the Christian early period, when the Christians sought shelter in remote Cappadocia. Hike through the Red Valley, whose rocks are actually shining in shades of reds. Try a real Çay in Cavusin, the national drink of Turkey. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia. (B/D )

Day 4: Ihlara Valley – Bellisirma – Nevsehir (220 km)
In the morning, take a short hike in the water-rich Ihlara Valley along the Melendiz River to Bellisirma. Continue to the crater lake Nar Gölü, another characteristic of the volcanic landscape of Cappadocia. Photo break. Continue and visit the Ibrahim Pasa Mosque in Nevsehir. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia. (B/D )

Day 5: Avanos – Özkonak – Liebestal – Sinasos (about 100 km)
Visit to a carpet factory in the small town of Avanos. Continue and visit the underground city of Özkonak. Several floors deep it goes into the underground. The inhabitants of the subterranean settlements dug residential, assembly and storage rooms into the soft tuff rock and found here protection against enemies. After lunch break hike in the Valley of Love. At the end of the day walk in Sinasos. Until the population exchange in 1923, the place was inhabited by Greeks. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia. Day 6: Cappadocia – Sultanhan – Konya – Antalya (about 560 km)
Drive to Konya. Stop at the well preserved Seljuk caravanserai Sultan Han from the 13th century, a medieval hostel for the caravans, and at the Dolinensee Obruk. Continue to the Mediterranean. Dinner and overnight in Antalya. (B/D )

Day 7: Antalya (about 50 km)
City tour in Antalya and walk through the romantic old town. Visit to a jewelery and leather center and then drive to the Düden waterfalls. Dinner and overnight in Antalya. (B/D )

8th day: departure
Transfer to Antalya airport and return flight or transfer to your connecting stay. (B)
